| Well my Brothers we have had several memorable events. We started off by making a courtesy 40 yr. presentation to Bro. Harold Barker Jr. of Charity Lodge. Bro.’s Joe Bigwood, Mike Butler and Myself met him at his home. (We left a petition for affiliation with him, we may gain a new member.)
This was followed by a EA Degree at our Sept. Stated, there were 24 in attendance. Next was Harmony Lodge Annual Vet’s, Special Ladies, Awards and dinner. The following Brothers were awarded : 25 yr pins to Bro’s Joseph Burbee and Warren Williams. 40 yr pin to Bro. Robert G. Hatfield. 50 yr pins were awarded by R.W. Paul Leary Deputy Grand Master, these were awarded to: Bro.’s Bernard Lamb and Ernest Treadwell Following was recognizing 8 of our Special Ladies. Corsages were presented to the Ladies and were pinned by R.W. Ken Clay, Grand Lodge Special Ladies Rep. Followed by a short talk by R.W. Clay The final presentation were three scholarships to three deserving students. NOTE! On the 30th of October Harmony lodge will be serving our DARE spaghetti and meatball dinner. To be held at the Weare Middle School. The proceeds will be divide between the DARE program for Weare, Henniker, and Washington. We are looking at possibly 400 to 500 attending. So lets really talk it up and support this, spread the word around to the Townspeople and all your friends and family. Fraternally Yours, Gerald K. Classon W.M. |
